Milli and Angie are highly respected singers in the local karaoke community and highly respected by Ozz. They have fully supported the NM Karaoke Competitions and Showcase since day one. They are now volunteering their time to help you through the journey to have the most fun out of it you can possibly have. When you registered you had to choose a coach. You will receive a welcome email, and if you have any questions or need help, simply send them an email and they will do their best to help you!

NM State Fair Karaoke Showcase-Meet Your Coaches!

I am originally from Northern California. I have had a love of music and singing all of my life. I relocated to ABQ in 2010 to be close to my children and grandchildren and became a part of the Karaoke community at that time (I have loved every minute of it). In 2010 I entered my first “big” Karaoke competition; Karaoke World Championships (KWC), in Roswell, NM in which I placed 4th. Since then I have been on both sides of many competitions, both as a participant and a judge; winning First Place in several and placing at least 2nd in others. I have been a part of the NMSF Karaoke Competition since it began in 2014, where I place 2nd. As a result I was given the opportunity to perform at several local venues which included the 2014 Chili Fiesta, the 2014 New Mexico Bowl and in 2015 Music in the Park. During last year’s NMSF Competition I performed as a guest singer at one of the local qualification venues, was a featured performer on the Henry Pavilion Stage during the 7th elimination round and had the phenomenal opportunity to have a Showcase on the same stage Finale day 2015. I also qualified for the World Series of Karaoke 2015 in Las Vegas, NV. I am looking forward to helping you enjoy this amazing journey!

Milli Wilson

I was born in New York but lived most of my life in South Florida. I moved to New Mexico in 1996. I have been involved in music for most of my life. I have been playing the violin since the 4th grade. I was in my high school choir and competition show choir where I had the honor of singing in the Walt Disney World Singing Christmas Tree. I was a voice major and a violin minor in college. I currently sing on the praise team at my church as well as direct the adult choir. I am a true karaoke junkie! I have been singing karaoke for the past 17 years and I love it! I participated the New Mexico State Fair Karaoke Showcase since it started. I was a finalist in 2014 and 2015 and was asked to be a coach in 2016. I am totally honored to have the opportunity to be a coach again this year. I have competed in, as well as judged many karaoke competitions. My role as a coach is to answer any questions that you may have throughout this journey; and yes, it is a journey that you will never forget. My first piece of advice....HAVE FUN and SING YOUR HEART OUT!!!!!
